It is reported that restrictions will soon be imposed on the transactions currently going on from popular UPI payment apps Google Pay, Paytm, Phone Pay and other apps. If this is implemented users will not be able to make unlimited payments. UPI Digital under National Payments Corporation of India will hold talks with RBI in this regard. A decision is likely to be taken by December 31.
